However going lightweight in waterproof fabrics has its trade-offs. Generally durability suffers as well as breathability and "comfort". That's because the slightly heavier fabrics can be full 3 layer with the third layer being the absorbent mesh inner that wicks sweat away from you and quickens the process in pushing it outside.
